Landscape Committee

Landscaping is essential to our homeowners association, as it helps beautify the neighborhood and keep property values up. Enclaves at Cherry Hills greatly benefits from this committee because we are surrounded by many acres of common grounds, a lake, walking paths and hundreds of trees. This is what makes our neighborhood so appealing.

Common ground is the land set aside for open space, including storm water, retention lakes, ponds, or recreational use for the owners of lots in a subdivision, conveyed in trust for the benefit, use, and enjoyment of the lot owners. The landscaping committee is largely responsible for researching landscaping companies, securing bids, and interviewing potential candidates. This committee also coordinates with the chosen company, oversees all landscaping work, and provides the HOA board with progress updates. Other tasks involve, irrigation repairs and maintenance, dead tree removal and replacement, lighting maintenance, flower selection, weed and insect control, detention basin clean up and maintenance, etc…While members with landscaping knowledge are a plus, it is not a requirement. Ask current board members to volunteer for the committee so you get people who are interested in maintaining the neighborhood’s outdoor space.

Mission Statement

The results of our efforts will be a clean, safe, and enjoyable place to life and play while keeping our maintenance
fees as low as reasonably possible. We, as volunteers, are not experts in managing an association and we all have significant demands and priorities in our lives.
